The Art of Slowing Down

One specific reality that digital media has granted me is the one of instant and endless results. There is always a garden hose of results to fill myself up with without barley any wait in between.

Since I've removed those hoses, it's a strange experience when filling myself up with some that requires a bit more time or focus; it's even more strange how this shouldn't feel so strange. There's a value in not going 100mph and switching between lanes within every minute of the day, but it's become a skill to be re-learned in the context of today digital landscape.

I hope to continue getting better at this skill.
